Hi All,
Wether you are reading locally or from overseas I am sure you would know by now about the devestating events happening in Queensland. We have several families of relatives directly impacted by the floods with 2 houses now under water. The good news is that they were able to flee as the water started to enter the houses and are currently staying with another family which are further inland and not impacted. They were not able to take very much at all and food supplies are already depleting with all nearby shops either already under water or completely wiped out of supplies. We are already writing out shopping lists for food and neccessary items like toiletries and medication that we will be stockpiling and as soon as the water levels fall and roads are open my parents, uncle and aunty and a few others will be driving up to give a helping hand.
I'm not sure when I will be back to blogging again but blogging and food are two things that are the furthest from my mind at the moment.
